Michael N. Bohan, MD:
Dr. Bohan was born in Cleveland, Ohio. He was raised in Olean, NY. He attended Davidson College and graduated with a B.S. in Biology. Dr. Bohan graduated from Wake Forest University School of Medicine and completed his internship and residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in 2000. He has been in private practice in Orthopaedic Surgery in the Georgetown and Myrtle Beach area since July of 2000. Dr. Bohan's specific areas of expertise include primary and complex revision Joint Replacement surgery of the Knee and Hip. His practice also encompasses General Orthopaedic Surgery and Arthroscopic Knee and Shoulder Surgery.
Eric Heimberger, MD:
Dr Heimberger was born in Stony Brook, NY. Attended Hobart and William Smith College and graduated with a BS in Biology. After college, he worked for one year as an Emergency Medical Specialist for the New York City Emergency Medical Service. Thereafter he attended the Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC obtaining his MD in 1992. He completed his surgery internship and Orthopedic surgery residency at Georgetown University Medical Center in 1997. He has been in private practice since completing his residency. Dr. Heimberger is with Carolina Orthopaedic Specialists in Myrtle Beach and is the Co-Director of the NextStep Total Joint Program at Waccamaw Hospital in Murrells Inlet, SC. He specializes in total joint replacements and revision surgeries including the hip, knee and shoulder.
